Hilton Saint Augustine Historic Bayfront Hotel - St. Augustine

This hotel is centrally located so you can walk thru all the old historical district shops. The room was average and considering the price you pay. I had issues with the room and the staff responding were amazingly friendly. The pool area although small is open until 10 and after a long day shopping is a nice relaxing end to your day.

My room had mold in the bathroom, old newspapers at the platform of the outdoor patio, no light bulb in the light out on the patio. I spoke with the front desk and they were quick to respond to the issues of the room and correct them.

My stay was absolutely wonderful! I booked the day before I needed to stay. Came in very late. Was met warmly and escorted to my room. The gentleman brought up my luggage and helped in every way. I had a lovely balcony as well!

This was not a real drawback- it was simply unexpected. Parking was tight and had to be valet parking for that reason.

Nice hotel, smaller than other Hiltons where we stayed before and therefore more personal and friendly. Also very nice that breakfast was a la carte. Very helpful concierge with good tips.

A/C had been on the fritz. They had a temporary portable A/C unit in the room that was loud and had trouble de-humidifying the room. Management was sympathetic and discounted our room rate and threw in the parking. I thought this was fair.

I love the location and how close we were to where we wanted to go. Everything in walking distance.

Would recommend for a city holiday

Charming hotel, really good service, with a beautiful view of the bay from our room.

We were informed breakfast would be an additional $30 per person on top of the $414 we paid, not to mention the $30 to park the car.

Street noise from bay front room

It's hard to say, because the room was misrepresented and Hilton did not hold up their advertisement of if your aren't 100% happy will fix it or you don't pay! Because we booked with Booked.net Room type misrepresented.

That I didn't get the room I paid an upgrade fee to get becaus I booked through a 3rd party. No soaking tub, 4 poster bed, or balcony and this was our HONEYMOON!

I loved sitting on our balcony, enjoying drinks while watching boats pass by, and the convenience of being just a few steps away from the Colonial Quarter and the captivating Castillo de San Marcos. They made our explorations so enjoyable that we appreciated having a central base for our family adventures.

Big room, nice little patio, comfy beds
